Today is the two-month anniversary of Nordic GEM! As the company develops there is an obvious need setting up certain routines that help keep track of the day-to-day action and at the same time not lose sight of long-term goals.
An important element of the above are the regular Board meetings, hugely important for start-ups but equally crucial for companies in the long run.
We take our responsibilities seriously and as such Nordic GEM had its first regular Board meeting last week! Our philosophy is to keep our compliance tight but do it as transparently as possible. We discuss clients, partnerships, strategy, new hires, company trips and parties etc. And we do it together with the staff who get to attend the meetings.
The reason for above isn’t just because the Board members are to “busy” to write the minutes, but we generally believe that the staff should be involved in most decisions that impact them at their place of work.
A pic of our Board meeting below. There are no ties, cigars or glasses of brandy. Just people sharing their ideas, thoughts and concerns. We help some of our clients to hold Board meetings at regular intervals. If you have any questions regarding that give us a nudge!
